Another unique experience is seeing the Full Moon rise up out of the Pinnacles Desert as the sun sets into the Indian Ocean. Only the brave and adventurous are recommended for this as it's really spooky.

Cervantes is also noted as a premiere windsurfing location, particularly for slalom events. From November through to March the powerful southerly winds provide perfect conditions for racing over the ocean surface.
