Pinnacles Beach Backpackers came into being January 27 1997. The many doomsayers predicting we'd go broke in 6-months were proven wrong by the business paying for itself within 2-months of trading. We knew we could make it work but hadn't expected such rapid success. HappyDays tours and charter run by Brian & Gail Gooch were the main contributing factor to our early success.
The building contains 4 x 4-bed dorms / 1 x 8-bed dorm / 3 double/twin/family rooms with share facilities and one double room with en-suite & TV that also caters for disabled persons.
In 7-years of operations we have hosted many thousands of guests, a great deal coming back for repeat visits. Our policy of cleanliness and hygiene pleases all who stay with us. We were proud to be nominated as finalists in the 2003 WA Tourism Awards.

Pictured top left is the original building with the latest addition (night shot) to the right. The new building integrates seamlessly with the first while providing a wider range of accommodation choice. We now offer everything from budget dorms up to deluxe en-suite rooms with sweeping ocean views - TV - fridge - tea & coffee making plus the welcome addition of Don Quixote's restaurant. We encountered great difficulties getting started but public opinion prevailed allowing us to proceed with an altogether beneficial development. The restaurant has proven a great success and most welcome addition to Cervantes tourism infrastructure.Pease check our menu.
