A walk trail has been built from Thirsty Point through the denser areas of the coastal bush leading on up to the highest lookout location over Hansen Bay.

The view from the high point over the dunes is worth the effort of climbing up.

During summer the coastal waters display the most vibrant turquoise hue thus giving rise to the area name 'The Turquoise Coast.'
